He has observed and captured several untold stories of the secret and little explored lives of tigers as diverse as a skilled lake huntress who adopts special techniques to catch prey in the lake to how orphaned cubs survive alone in the wild. Each one hour episode containing six segments will delve into unique behaviour patterns, special characteristics,surprising adaptations, emotional bondings, innovative use of science to protect tigers and their environment and what they like.Grey Films India has more than 400 hours of stunning tiger footage, some of which has been used in our tiger films produced for international audiences. We propose to pick choicest tiger accounts from our used as well unused footage for a gripping, fast paced mini-series offering a fresh new perspective on tigers to the viewers.
Each 7-8 minute segment will look into different aspects of a tiger’s life that the filmmaker has encountered and incidents of sibling rivalry, maternal instincts, hunting techniques, tiger cub training, tiger injuries, tiger fights,tiger conflict and survival tactics. We will give accounts of rewilding and rescue operations, man-eaters, rare natural history behaviour and natural death of a tiger in the wild. Each story will explore unusual themes such as genetic memory and emotional bonding among tigers.
